Students involved with Art Project: Vigo Stepping Stones

Work has started this week on some beautiful mosaic stepping stones for the Community Food Bed in Vigo Recreation Ground in Andover, through our Nature Of Art In Wessex project.

Artist Joanna Dewfall has been working with participants from Dene Court Homeless Shelter, the Crisis Centre Women’s Refuge, Andover Museum’s Young Carer’s Youth Group and Andover Education Centre. The mosaics, which will be unveiled on Sunday 27 May at 2pm in Vigo Recreation Ground, Andover. Please see poster for more details.

EASTER HOLIDAY

Have a good Easter Holiday.

The Centre will be closing  on Friday 28th March and reopening on Monday 15th April, which will be a Target Setting Day when parents will be meeting their son’s/daughter’s tutor to discuss  their IEP targets.

All parents will need to make their own way to the Centre on 15th April as all taxi’s will be cancelled for the day.

OUTSTANDING OFSTED REPORT

After the recent OFSTED inspection which took place at the end of last term (July 2010) we are proud to be one of only a few KS3/4 Pupil Referral Units in the country to be awarded the outstanding designation under the new inspection regime introduced in September 2009.
